Joe Durkin was a Manoa legend who passed way too soon. He was a superb hoops player who could be found many a Saturday or Sunday morning in some heated pickup games at Bailey Park. He also was the last manager of the Manoa Dodgers to win the old CWV youth baseball league which was followed by the most legendary impromptu block party in the history of Naylors Run. His wife Jen has been instrumental in the rebirth of the legendary Bailey Park basketball league where our youth plays on the same courts as the legends of our past. Happy Labor Day Weekend.
